Run your store on the AI-native PaaS for PHP

Your store, your code, we handle the hard part.

Open source gave you a store you can shape any way you want. It also left the hard part with you: the slow page nobody can explain, the checkout error after an update, the cron that quietly stopped. Move your store to synsmarts and that part is ours. We run it, we watch every request, and when something breaks we find the cause and write the patch. We apply it, or hand it to your developers, so you can build more and fix less.

Hosted as

Your own stack, on resources that are yours.

Every store runs on its own PHP, database, cache, search, and queue, with a firewall and storage that are yours alone. Nothing is shared with another store, and nothing is an add-on.

See the full stack
Every store gets its own home with the full stack, a burst pool that scales out under load, and its own cron pool. Nothing is shared with another store.

Traces, logs, metrics, and your code, together.

When something goes wrong, the answer is usually spread across six places, and whoever is looking has one of them. Here they sit together, for every store, all the time. So when a checkout fails or a deploy breaks, the trace, the query, the setting, and the line of code that caused it are already next to each other.

  1. Traces Browser to database, every hop instrumented.
  2. Metrics CPU, memory, queue depth, cache hit rate.
  3. Logs PHP errors, slow queries, your app's own log.
  4. Events Every deploy, cron run, restart, and scale.
  5. Configs PHP, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, OpenSearch settings.
  6. Code Indexed, so a query points at the line that wrote it.

synsmarts reads all six

  1. Connects the trace, the query, and the line
  2. Finds the cause
  3. Writes the fix
Patch ready 350 ms to 4 ms per product page

Root cause: every product page rebuilds the same block instead of reading it from cache.

app/code/Acme/Cache/BlockContract.php

-  return $this->loadContract();+  return $this->cache->remember(+      'acme.block_contract',+      fn () => $this->loadContract(),+  );
  • Traces One request, browser to database, every hop instrumented.
  • Metrics CPU, memory, queue depth, cache hit rate, per store, all day.
  • Logs PHP errors, queries, requests, and your store's own log.
  • Events Every deploy, cron run, restart, and scale, with a timestamp.
  • Configs Your PHP, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, and OpenSearch settings, as declared.
  • Code Your store's code, indexed, so a query points at the line that wrote it.
Every signal in one place, so the report comes back with the fix.

Everything that explains the page, in one place.

A slow product page has a cause somewhere in this list. Traditional hosting hands you a few of these and a dashboard. Here they are collected together, for every store, all the time, and read together when something breaks.

Tracing, diagnosis, and the patch come with every plan.

See the same store, both bills

We find it, we fix it, you approve it.

Finding the slow query, reading the trace, reproducing the error, writing the fix, and getting it into production. That is the platform's job, on every store, all day. When something breaks, the report tells you what it found, what it wrote, and where to click to apply it.

  1. We Watch Every Request

Browser to database, every deploy, every day.

  2. We Find the Cause

The file and the line, not a graph to interpret.

  3. We Write the Patch

For your code, not advice about the server.

  4. We Apply It, or Your Developers Do

Approve it in the dashboard and we apply it. Or hand it to your team to review and apply.

An incident on a Magento store running on synsmarts, caught, patched, and applied the same morning. Store name withheld.

Critical checkout c41d7b2e · 2026-09-02 · 09:14 UTC

Checkout failing after a module update

Every order attempt since the 09:11 deploy of acme-discounts 3.2.0 ended in a fatal at the cart total.

Details

acme-discounts 3.2.0 calls a method the store's cart no longer exposes. The trace shows the fatal at class-cart-hook.php:88 on every checkout request since the deploy; the patch calls the method that exists and keeps the discount logic intact.

Measured impact

Checkout requests ending in a fatal. Seven minutes from the first error to the fix live.

What’s included

Moving to us is easy and seamless. We do everything.

We build the copy, tune it, and switch you over on the day you choose, while your store keeps taking orders where it is. The store you tuned over years, the people who know it, and the way you work all come with you.

How the move works
  • Your old host stays live until you say go

The move is free and we do the work. We build the copy, load-test it, and tune it while your store keeps taking orders where it is. At cutover you see exactly what will change and approve it.

  • Your code, extensions, and config move as they are

Same code, same database, same extensions, same PHP version. The store arrives the way you left it, then the diagnosis starts.

  • Your developer stays your developer

Nothing about who works on the store changes. They get the same dashboard you do.

  • You deploy and log in the way you do now

Git push, or SSH in with Deployer or rsync, the same way you do today. Your build commands and your PHP version stay exactly as you set them.

Built by the people who ran your host for twelve years.

We ran MageMojo from 2009 to 2021: thousands of stores, more than $1 billion in transactions, over a thousand reviews at 4.9 stars, and twelve years on the other side of the ticket queue. synsmarts is the platform we would have wanted to hand you.

Questions we get asked.

View all FAQs →
What happens if an application goes down?

We already know. synsmarts watches every request, so a store that goes down is a store we are already looking at: the evidence is captured before anything restarts, the cause is traced to the file and line, and the patch is written. We apply it, or hand it to your developers to review and apply, usually before your first customer emails you, so you can build more and fix less.

What does a synsmarts diagnostic report include?

Reports include deployment checks, application health, performance findings (slow queries with the line of code that triggered them), error details with stack traces, and actionable fixes written so engineering teams can move without guesswork.

Will I get a real person when something breaks?

Yes. Every plan includes ticket and email support with a 15-minute response commitment, 24/7. Pro adds live chat and Enterprise adds a named technical contact. The engineer who picks up already has your diagnostic report in hand.

How does synsmarts pricing work?

Every plan includes the synsmarts platform, managed hosting, monitoring, diagnostics, and support. Pricing scales with the resources and reliability needs of each application. Billing is per-minute on the CPU and memory you reserve, bursts are free up to 10% of the month, it is month-to-month with no contract, and you can set a spend cap with alerts at 50%, 80% and 100%.

Is synsmarts PCI-DSS and GDPR compliant?

Yes. synsmarts operates as a PCI-DSS SAQ D service provider (cardholder data is transmitted to your payment processor, never stored) and is GDPR compliant, with a DPA available and every store isolated in its own private environment.

Is my store kept apart from other customers?

Yes. Your data, files, and database live in their own private environment. Nothing is shared or mixed with any other customer's, which is also what makes the PCI-DSS and GDPR posture straightforward.

Which PHP applications and frameworks does synsmarts support?

synsmarts supports WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopware, Laravel, and custom PHP applications. If it runs on PHP, synsmarts can host, monitor, and diagnose it.
